Susan’s Healthy Gourmet Expands Into New Headquarters

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 18, 2009— Susan’s Healthy Gourmet, the company that pioneered the concept of fresh, healthy gourmet meals delivered twice weekly to homes throughout Southern California, today announced its expansion into a new, 15,000-square foot facility in Irvine, Calif.  The company’s new McGaw Avenue headquarters, with triple the space for its kitchen, will accommodate its steady growth and the addition of the new venture, Xan Confections. Susan Johnson, founder and CEO of Susan’s Healthy Gourmet, and Kerry Johnson Anthony, president, launched Xan Confections earlier this month.

Earlier this month, the mother-daughter team announced the launch of their latest enterprise, Xan Confections, a gourmet chocolate company being spearheaded by celebrated Orange County chocolatier Tracey Downey in her role as director of research and development.  The new venture lets consumers indulge in all-natural, rich-tasting chocolates and caramels that are health-conscious and coincide with the healthy lifestyle that Susan’s Healthy Gourmet promotes.
