The Chatty Gourmet

Hello, I am Akiko. I am an intern at Susan's Healthy Goumet.

 I am a junior student at college in Tokyo studying Liberal Arts. I took one year study abroad year and came to the US this March to take business course at UCI.

At the end of my first semester, Susan came to our class as a guest speaker. She taked about how she started her business, her commitment to deliver healthy meals, and how she has expanded her business. Listenig her lecture, I felt like learnig more from a woman who started her own business and still working actively to grow her company. Also, chocolates she brought from one of the sister comapnies of Susan's Healthy Goumet, Xan attracted me a lot.

That is how I come to start internship here.

Us Foodies over here at Susan's love to eat! We love to talk about food, come up with new recipes and share ideas. A few of us decided to go grab dinner a few nights ago at a local restaurant that we've been wanting to try. Turn's out it was the best time! We ate great food, tried new things and had a lot of fun. We are going to do this at least once a month just to do something different. It's our new dinner club. We are going to come up with a rating system for all of the new places that we try. We promissed to not go to the same place twice and always go where at least two of us haven't gone before! I will share our findings so you and your friends can check out great restaurants that maybe you have never thought of going to. Let us know if you try them too and what you think! Go Foodies!
